    Since the issue still persists, we suggest removing the Internet connection on your computer. Try again to turn on the computer.

    If the Windows update still got stuck at 77%, try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del see if it helps.

    update stuck at 77%

    My computer is stuck in an update. I had to power it off with the power button. When I turn it back on it goes straight to the update screen at 72% and looks like it is working. It goes to 73, 74, all the way to 77% and then quits. I can't do anything
    except turn it off again. I can't boot in safe mode because it goes straight to the update screen. How do I stop the update before it gets to 77%.
