Windows 10: iTunes installed from Microsoft Store and only accessible through that

I have a brand new version of windows 10 installed along with all updates. I downloaded iTunes via the app store. The app will launch and I signed into my apple account. However, iTunes does not show up on my start menu nor is there a desktop shortcut. The only way I can launch iTunes is by first launching the MS Store and then clicking open from the app page. I have tried pinning itunes to the start menu, but a blank icon appears instead and does not launch itunes.I tried to upload screenshots, but it keeps throwing up an error saying upload failed.

iTunes won't connect to my iTunes Media directory

1. Uninstall iTunes completely. (I suggest using Geek Uninstaller. In my experience this does a good job of clearing remnants.)
2. Download and install latest iTunes from Apple, not Windows Store (Never use the Windows Store for iTunes.)
3. Check whether the Apple version allows you to point to your old media store.

unable to download itunes from microsoft store

I am unable to download the itunes app on to my pc from the Microsoft store. I select itunes, I get to the itunes app page and click "download now." When I do this, it opens a new Microsoft Store window listing a whole bunch of "Essential Apps." I scroll down the list of "essential apps," find itunes again and select it, which brings me back to the same itunes download page I started with. But when I select "download now" it just opens up the "Essential Apps" window again. What am I doing wrong?

If you are accessing iTunes store on Windows PC and want the artwork scaling to be 125%, then please perform the below steps and check.

1. Press Windows + I key from the keyboard to launch Windows Settings.
   
2. Click on the System icon.
   
3. Click on Display on the left pane, and click on the
   Custom scaling link under Scale and layout on the right pane.
   
4. Enter a custom scaling size 125% you want and click on
   Apply.
   
5. Click on Sign out now to apply.
