Windows 10: iTunes not fully operating in Windows 11

I have Windows 11 and iTunes will only open correctly if I go to the Microsoft store each time and open from there. When I try to access from the short cut or direct file on my computer, it does not function fully. I am unable to switch between music, movies or tv shows via the drop down menu it's frozen and other functions are impaired slowed or no response. I do not have this issues each time I go into Microsoft Store and access iTunes through there. I tried running repair, reset and I uninstalled and reinstalled. I restarted my computer many times. It did not fix the issues.

iTunes won't connect to my iTunes Media directory

1. Uninstall iTunes completely. (I suggest using Geek Uninstaller. In my experience this does a good job of clearing remnants.)
2. Download and install latest iTunes from Apple, not Windows Store (Never use the Windows Store for iTunes.)
3. Check whether the Apple version allows you to point to your old media store.
