  1. iTunes playing through wrong device

Before you tell me to switch the playback setting from windows audio session to direct sound or vice versa, that doesn't work. I have my pc hooked up to 2 monitors and a TV, and iTunes audio ALWAYS plays through the TV, even though I have my headphones set to the default device. The only thing that makes the audio play through my headphones is if I disable the TV audio device but when I open up iTunes again it switches back to the TV. pls help

    iTunes playing through wrong device

iTunes won't connect to my iTunes Media directory

    1. Uninstall iTunes completely. (I suggest using Geek Uninstaller. In my experience this does a good job of clearing remnants.)
    2. Download and install latest iTunes from Apple, not Windows Store (Never use the Windows Store for iTunes.)
    3. Check whether the Apple version allows you to point to your old media store.

    Hope this helps...
