Windows 10: iTunes "Sync" on Windows 10 PC

Newbie Question: What did it do?I ran iTunes on my PC, connected my iPhone 13 Pro, selected the mobile device, clicked "File Sharing," and selected the particular app and folder that I planned to "Save" to my PC. Then I made a mistake. I don't do this often, so I'm likely to forget the correct procedure! Instead of scrolling down to find "Save," I just clicked "Sync" at the bottom. It did some process lasting a good part of a minute, which I didn't know how to stop.What did it do? Now I find a huge number of photos listed on my PC under

Hi,

It's possible that iTunes folder is set with Read Only permission, which means Windows will allow it to sync with the device you have plugged in. Try the following steps and check if it works.

• Open Windows Explorer (Windows + E)
• Right click on your iTunes folder
• Go to Properties
• Uncheck the Read Only option under Atrributes.
• Now, check if the issue persist.

If the problem still persist, then make sure that you have full control over the iTunes folder. To do so, follow these steps.

• Right click on the iTunes folder.
• Select Properties and click on security.
• Click edit, check allow full control and
  Apply

Windows 10 Upgrade. ipod will not sync with iTunes

:Yesterday I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10. The upgrade went smoothly until I attempted to sync my ipod with iTunes. It synced just fine with 8.1 It will NOT sync with iTunes in Windows 10.

I have spent 8 hours going between 4 MS techs and two Apple techs to try every step possible to get my ipod nano 5th generation device to sync with iTunes. This includes:

1. My laptop is a new totally powerful Toshiba, no limitations with the computer. All drivers were checked to be current / best.

2. Diagnostics in Windows for Apple devices gone through and reset as suggested.

3. iTunes was uninstalled and reinstalled. All Apple fixes possible were attempted. Ipod reset.

The 4th MS tech now agrees I need to DUMP 10 and return to 8.1 ! Can you believe this! MS - get to work on fixing this bug! Thousands need help!
