Windows 10: iTunes takes at over 9 minutes to load on Windows 11

How do I get it to load faster?Details:I've completely removed, and reloaded iTunes and iCloud as described in the second box here:https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-6562I've tried everything described here:https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252376604I called Apple and they say it is Microsoft's problem.I'm running Windows 11 Home, version 22000.282, on a Dell desktop with a 1 TB SSD and an i7-9700k CPU running at 3.6 GHz with 32 GB of RAM.I've installed iTunes and iCloud from the Microsoft Store. I'm running version 12.12.2.2 of iTunes and version 12.5.74.0 of iCloud.

ITunes not loading

To better understand the query, please answer the following questions:

1. What happens when you try to load ITunes?

2. Is the issue specific to a particular program?

I suggest you to try uninstalling ITunes by following the steps below and install the latest version of ITunes and check if the issue persist. To uninstall ITunes, follow the steps on
How to Repair or remove programs.

Once you have uninstalled the program, download the latest ITunes from the link below:

Download ITunes

If that doesn't help and the issue is specific to ITunes, I suggest you to contact

Cannot install iTunes

Hello,

What version of Windows are you using?

Did you follow the steps for uninstalling iTunes? If not, do so now.

Right click on Start > Select Control Panel > Uninstall Programs

Uninstall all of these applications

• iTunes Software
• Quicktime
• Apple Software Update
• Apple Mobile Support
• Bonjour (especially Bonjour, the most problematic and most difficult component to remove properly! )
  
• Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
• iPhone (if you have it loaded)
• and anything else related to iTunes — that’s the tough part where you need to be very careful
  

iTunes should be uninstalled in this process of elimination. Reboot the computer.

To install iTunes, follow these steps.

Step one - download the icloud control panel (do not install yet)

Step two - Run the installer as an administrator by right clicking the installer and running as administrator

Step three - after the install finishes, DO NOT reboot

Step four - run the apple software update program and install iTunes from there.

Step five - Reboot, and enjoy

 

Prevent iTunes from loading on startup


Since I've upgraded to Windows 10, iTunes keeps loading on startup. I looked in the task manager under Startup, and disabled iTunesHelper. I don't see any other apps listed under Startup that are associated with iTunes or any other apple software.

Am I missing something? It's a little annoying having iTunes loading on startup.
