Windows 10: iTunes video faulty in Windows 20 64-bit

Itunes in Windows 10 64-bit. Audio and captions normal but video jumps about a frame every second or so. Apple insists it is a Windows issue. All software, drivers up to date. iTunes removed and reinstalled. Is anyone aware of a fix? Thanks!

As you said that " it worked fine with 32-bit version", and there is a problem in installing in 64-bit version. But iTunes application is compatible with both the versions. There may be an issue with the PC which/iTunes application which is not supporting
the particular PC.

The error code which you have provided is related to Windows update.

I suggest you to run the Windows update troubleshooter and check if it helps.

You can follow the steps:

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the search box present in the Taskbar.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select View all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Run Windows update Troubleshooter.

iTunes playback frozen for video and music - Window 10 Pro 64 bit

System

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Intel i7-7700HQ @2.8GHz

RAM 16 GB

64 Bit operating system

My system works fine with all other playbacks. However, I have reinstalled and re-authorized the latest version of iTunes several times and computer restarts. Clicking around iTunes works fine, but when I click on a video or music for playback. Video opens
a new screen and it freezes. Music playback allows clicking from the arrow to pause and back, but no playing or counting of minutes remaining in the song.

I have tried downloading the video rather than streaming. Same problem

I have changed settings in Playback Preferences from Windows Audio Session to Direct Session and back. Reboot. Same problem

I have downloaded the iTunes software directly from Apple vs. Windows. Same problem

Any thoughts?

apple itunes 64 bit for windows instalation error

Clean things out, download a fresh copy of the iTunes 64-bit installer, and try again.

1. Get iTunes here (the button should say "Download now (64 bit)"

2. Follow the directions here to clean things out:

3. Restart the computer in "Clean Boot" mode:
https://support.logitech.com/en_us/article/228

4. If your antivirus program is running after you have restarted in "Clean boot" mode, temporarily disable it (method varies with each a/v program)

5. Run the iTunes installer you downloaded in Step 1.

6. After iTunes has installed, don't forget to re-enable your antivirus and re-boot back to normal mode (follow the steps after "After completing your troubleshooting, restore your system by doing the following" at the logitech.com link above).

If the problem persists, please explain the "series of iterations" in more detail.
