Windows 10: iTunes

iTunes appears to install OK but will not open on my system (Build 9926) anyone else having this issue?

Library (music, Podcasts, etc) will not refresh with Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac.

Your post solved my problem. iTunes updated iTunes Library.xml but not iTunes Music Library.xml.



Solution:

I searched in Apples KB and found, that I have to rename iTunes Library.itl to iTunes Music Library.itl while iTunes is offline. At the restart of iTunes with pressed OPTION Key, I chose the iTunes Music Library.itl as the library for my iTunes installation.
Now iTunes is writing to iTunes Music Library.xml again and Windows Phone 7 Connector is able to sync current songs from iTunes to the phone.

You can install iTunes, add your music to iTunes then sync them to your iPhone.

Download iTunes and install it:

iTunes - Download iTunes Now - Apple

Add Music to iTunes:

Sync you music to iTunes.

Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer ...

 

Same issue here. Have tried opening iTunes in safe mode and even creating a new iTunes library. It opens in Task Manager but then closes and never shows up on screen, except for the option to select a library if safe mode is invoked.

 

Thankfully I don't use iTunes (the Windows version is especially bad)

The solution here worked for me. It rolled back the AMD video driver that was installed automatically.
