    There are a few reasons why your computer shows a high CPU usage. It could be because of malware or malfunctioning software. To better assist you, please clarify the following:

    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Since when have you been experiencing this issue?
    • Any recent changes made prior to the issue?

    high cpu usage

    After downloading windows 10, anytime I run any programs, I get high CPU usage. It does not matter whether it is google chrome, task manager, playing games, whatever. Anything seems to spike the CPU usage. I have already run malwarbytes and my antivirus
    programs and find no viruses. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    High CPU Usage

    Unfortunately, this was way too "techy" for me - didn't understand most of what the steps were so I didn't do it. I'm still getting the message from Norton that there is high CPU usage when using Edge and I never got this message before upgrading to Windows

    My laptop idling temp and cpu usage really high after recent windows update: I’m looking in task manager right now. something called Microsoft Windows indexer and something else we’re forcing the cpu usage up to 25-100% for some reason.
