Windows 10: I've been locked out of my account and cant remember details about skype, xbox or email

Hi,I can't seem to access my account, when I do I get the message "we have detected unusual activity... verify your identity and change your password". but to do this i need to answer questions about skype, xbox and my email. The issue is, I haven't used these apps for a very long time, I only used my Microsoft account to log into on my pc desktop in recent years. As such, I cant remeber any specific details about contacts on skype, xbox or emails I've sent. Is there any way to recover my account otherwise.Thanks, Jacob

Parents cannot remember Parental Acconeunt Details for Windows Phone

As the title suggest i have a windows phone and my parents cannot remember the email log in for their account, the name for the parent is Zipzum but they cannot remember the account detailes linked with this account. This is only for windows phone due
to m being a minor and my xbox account and microsoft account are exempt from their parental account details, only my windows phone account has the parental lock on it which has so far stopped me from being able to download apps and whatnot. I have looked on
the website for help but none of the solutions came up, is it possible for microsoft to delete my parental account linked with this account and then my parents can set up a new one or not?

 

Email clients not remembering passwords

Hi all

A friends computer will not remember his gmail password. He used to use outlook, and seeing that I use thunderbird and it would be easier to troubleshoot I installed that for him. Now that was working for a few weeks, and now the same problem is occuring.

We are 100% sure the password is correct, as we can access the email account through webmail, but the local clients will not remember the correct password. Of course the 'Remember password' button is checked, but still no good.

It returns with incorrect password.

Any suggestions?

 

Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.
