I may have been somewhat of an idiot ...

Ever since I've gotten Win 10 I had this issue with my keyboard where it wouldn't work after a shutdown. I had to bend down and re-plug it's USB every time I booted up my PC. I was trying to fix this issue and may have messed around a bit too much, as I've disabled an USB Controller (I think it was called?) in the BIOS, hoping that would fix the issue, only to have both my keyboard AND mouse (both USB) not working at all. Now I cannot do anything, can't get into the BIOS to fix this.

    Any help pls?

    :)

Multiple devices intermittently connecting and disconnecting when connected to USB

Both my iPhone 5 and Nexus 5 will intermittently connect and disconnect when connected by USB. Mouse and keyboard work fine. I have Windows 10 installed on a 2014 Razer 14". I've tried disabling
USB selective suspend setting' as well as disabling usb 3.0 in the bios all to no effect.

Mouse and keyboard not working not working after Windows 10 startup

    Hi!

When I started the computer early this morning both the keyboard and the mouse (both USB-connected) ceased to work (appears to be shut off) as soon as windows is beginning to startup. Before windows 10 starts the two works fine in BIOS etc.

I've cheched that the USB legacy is enabled in the BIOS as well as that both the keyboard and the mouse works on another computer. I've also tried to start Windows without them plugged in and then to insert the USBs once windows is running but to no effect.
I've tried to start WIndows in safe mode but considering that the keyboard didn't work at the time it doesn't seem to be possible.

Any suggestions about what I can do to get around this problem?

  5. Reset BIOS. Unplug computer and press Clear CMOS button on the back of the motherboard.
