Windows 10: Ive encountered a problem when increasing the htz on my pc to the max

I have a 144 htz monitor and I just realized that yesterday I've been using it at 60 htz this whole time so I switched it. when I switched it I noticed that half of my monitor was this repeating thing where it would be shaded in blue and it would be this repeating cycle of going up (sorry, im having a hard time describing it). I dont know why it doing this. My friend said it might be a problem with my monitor but I really hope it isnt becuse Ive only had this pc for a couple of months. Since I built it back in august Ive had problems with my hard drive as well and it has the click of death right now but I plan on getting an SSD at christmas, maybe it could be that but I dont know. the final thing I had thought it might be is something with windows and I have been having a lot of problems with windows like not being able to activate it again with the free codes online and other stuff as such, Im hoping that its just stuff caused by my hard drive and nothing more than that. I should also mention that a month after I built my pc I had to take it to a guy to get it fixed because something happened with either windows or my hard drive but I feel like I should mention that if it helps. This issue only occurs when I have my advanced display settings at 144 htz though and right now im running it at 120 htz and its fine. It also only does this in certian places where the screen is really dark or black, like my web browser and youtube and some of the games I play. Sorry that there is so much writing but Ive just been so frustrated with windows since I built this pc. Im really considering switching to linux but I dont know a lot about it and I dont want to have to delete and reinstall everything

PC Suite encounters problem

Hi everyone,

The past few days I have been trying to install PC Suite 7092 to my laptop XP2 but to no avail. The message says 'Nokia_PC_Suite_rel_7_0_9_2_eng_web. exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.' Similar result using PC XP2. Nokia_PC_Suite_Cleaner_7_0_1
seems not the exact solution either. Any suggestion?

 

Problems Ive noticed in Windows 10 1903

1. Indication of instability
2. So basically Im not allowed to use custom software until the problem is fixed? its a PROBLEM not looking for alternatives
3. There is a slight difference in boot up, Ive tested it on the same pc, with fresh installs and disabled all startup programs, even used a tool called AutoRuns by Sysinternals to take it a step further

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
