Windows 10: I've failed to install 2024-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2

Unable to install 2024-01 Cumulative Updates for Windows 11

I've tried the Windows Troubleshooter, and I disabled Malwarebytes (I primarily use Windows Defender, so I didn't need it running as well), and I've tried restarting a couple times.

But the following two updates refuse to install, and I keep receiving error code 0x80070020 for:

• 2024-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034123)
  
• 2024-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5033920)
  

What do I need to do, to get these updates to install?

I'm running Windows 11 Home (version 22H2).

Not sure if it's extraneous info but my processor is a 12th Gen Intel i7, with 32GB of RAM.

2024-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 delayed usb and error on install.

Had issues installing this update with some weird delayed usb devices on pin login after install on 3 computers in my home then the same on my parents computer with usb delay at pin login screen and also the update failing and stuck at 0% for 15 plus minutes after an install failure. I gave up on their system, am going to try again tomorrow.



Also what I mean with USB delayed is mouse keyboard, and usb wifi delay and don't work at the pin login screen then after 10 - 15 seconds they finally are detected and start working. Have never had this problem until the new updates rolled out on Jan 9th 2024. Is there perhaps a rollback or fix coming for this?

Windows Cumulative Updates failing to install

I'm having a large number of failures installing the December and now the January Cumulative updates for Widows 11 22H2 and 23H2. The specific updates are:

MS23-DEC: Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 - Windows 11 Version 22H2 - KB5033375 (x64)

MS23-DEC: Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 - Windows 11 Version 23H2 - KB5033375 (x64)

and

MS24-JAN: Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 - Windows 11 Version 23H2 - KB5034123 (x64)

MS24-JAN: Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 - Windows 11 Version 22H2 - KB5034123 (x64)

I have followed the instructions detailed by David-M in this post: Windows Update failing to install - Microsoft Community and others with similiar steps, none of the steps have succeeded. I have tried using Windows Update locally, pushing the updates from our asset management software and even downloaded the specific CU locally, and running the installer/update. Regardless of the method, the install universally fails with: "Install error - 0x800f081f"

On the 22H2 systems I have also tried upgrading to 23H2 and generally speaking those fail as well. Does anyone have a similar experience and found a way through this?
