I was looking to backup my computer to onedrive, and I copied over my downloads folder. Unfortunately, this instantly maxed out my storage space on my onedrive, and now my file explorer stops responding every time I attempt to select anything As such, I cannot delete the copied downloads folder, or anything else on my computer. Please help.

    :)

  2. Copy/Print List of Folders on OneDrive

    Hi,

Kayece here, An Independent advisor and a user just like you. I will be happy to assist you today.

From what I understand, you wanted to have the copy and print of your OneDrive folder name list. Correct me if I am wrong. You can copy your OneDrive folder name list by using Excel. You can follow the steps below.

*Make sure that your OneDrive is sync to your PC

*Open your Excel > click on Data tab > Get Data > Select From File > From Folder

*Browse to the OneDrive folder you have synced to your computer

    *Click on Load

If you are unable to find the steps above on your Excel, try to perform the steps below.

*Open your Excel > click on Data tab > In the "Get & Transform group", click on *New Query> Select From File > From Folder

*Browse to the OneDrive folder you have synced to your computer

    *Click OK.

If the above does not work or you are unable to find the steps above, you can export the OneDrive data into an Excel file. You can follow the steps below.

*Open OneDrive in the browser> Click on Return to Classic Experience (at the bottom left)> Click on Settings> Show Ribbon> Click on the Library> Export to Excel.

Or you can export to Excel from SharePoint or Lists. Follow the steps on the support link below.

  3. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    onedrive duplicating my folders...

    Hi.

Again, onedrive is going crazy and is duplicating my main folder, full of subfolders. It's locking me out of all my files. I have windows 10, Office 365 home. I paused synch at the moment before I have 1000 copy of my folder, which I can't open anyway!
Please don't ask me any question that will further delay the repair. Simply give me a step by step solution and then improve onedrive so this won't happen again to so many of us. I suggest you also add "onedrive" in the list of "Windows Topics" below since
thousands of users have issues with it.

    Thanks

    Michel
