Windows 10: ive removed myself but im still in a group

I have managed to remove myself from my family group but now that I have been removed its giving me the option to add people to my family group although I do not want to be in one at all i want do go back to the option page where you can just create one, I have tried lots of different ways like adding a member I've tried both adding them as a child and as an organiserthen removing myself again but that still wont work, please help.

I went to the link that you suggested. The most applicable section was 'Add People to a home PC'.

I used the procedure under "If you need to remove that person's sign-in information from your PC:".

Step 1; Successful

Step 2: There is no Remove option for that user; only Change Account Type and Allow

I also clicked on the Manage Family Settings link and the were were no users listed other than me (this is expected since there are no other users other than me.

I then restarted the computer and went through Step 1 again. The user was still under the Family group.

Any other thoughts? Thanks.

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Does windows phone 8 sync groups?

I think that syncing that Exchange data might be a good suggestion for the
suggestion box.



On Outlook.com, just underneath the word People in the top left is the word "All". Click this and choose what group you want to manage. This will list people in the group and you can remove them here too. But to add to the group, you have to go back to the
All list, select the contact, click Manage>Add group
