Ive run easyfix and yet im still getting a 0x8002F8F-0x20000 error when trying to run the media creation tool...help!!!im on windows 7 and trying to upgrade to win 10ive even checked the registry and the correct values seem to be in place

This error is usually displayed when any external device is connected. I would suggest you to remove all external devices except keyboard and mouse and then check if the issue persists. If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to try the steps suggested

I tried every possible fix and nothing has worked until I came across this fix tonight below. It gives step by step instructions to update the TLS protocols. I spent hours and considered buying a new computer. Hopefully, its what works for you. I made sure my windows 7 was up to date before I made the registry file in the link below.
