    Japanese IME switches to permanent Romaji when in-game


    Hi. I've been having this problem of using the Japanese IME in an online game I'm playing. I do click on the IME on the taskbar to switch from alphanumeric to kana when I need to use either one. I can type romaji then the IME will convert it to kana anywhere I can use it, but never in the game. It stays in permanent alphanumeric when I'm in the game. I have tried re-installing the language pack, and updated the game too, but the problem is not yet solved. I was wondering if anyone can help me with this.

    I can't add the Japanese romaji keyboard to my computer.

    How can I add the Japanese keyboard? I have been trying to add the Japanese romaji keyboard for a few does and failed to do so.

    My current situation:

    • Japanese Language Pack installed
      • Basic typing error code 0x80070002
      • Handwriting error code 0x80070002
      • Speech error code 0x80070002
      • Keyboards - only Microsoft IME input method editor
    • Control Panel - Clock & Region
      • Shows no keyboard language tab to add a language

    Hello!

    I'm your Independent Advisor for today. Let's figure this out and come up with a solution.

    You can switch input language by pressing Windows key + Spacebar. Once in Japanese IME, press Alt + ~ to change input method to romaji input and make sure its set to hiragana.

    Option for ALT + CAPS_LOCK to cycle back to Romaji from Katakana in Japanese IME?

    Hello,

    I sometimes work with the Japanese IME keyboard. When I enter a new input box, I generally do ALT + CAPS_LOCK to switch from Romaji to Hirigana.

    However, sometimes I go too far over to Katakana, and when I hit ALT + CAPS_LOCK again, it just stays on Katakana. Just now I learned the shortcut CTRL + CAPS_LOCK to go back to Hirigana, but I was wondering if there was a way to cycle back around to Romaji
    from Katakana?

    Being able to cycle back through from Katakana to Romaji (i.e: an infinite cycle of Romaji -> Hirigana -> Katakana -> Romaji -> etc.) would be much easier to work with than completely changing my hand position over to CTRL + CAPS_LOCK. Is this possible already?
    I couldn't find any resources on it.
