Windows 10: Java runtime error in Minecraft 1.18.2 Modded

I am attempting to install some mods on a friend's computer, whenever he open's the game into a world, the game crashes after about 5-30 seconds, the same mods and forge version work fine on my system. Sometimes it gives me a crash report saying JAVA_RUNTIME_ERROR, sometimes it gives me this error code: -1073740940 with no crash report. I've looked at every thread relating to this and I'm at my wits end, I've updated the graphic's drivers, I've tried downgrading java to Java 7, then I tried updating to the most recent java version, I've tried increasing and decreasing the allocated ram. Everytime I Try To Open Optifine mod For Minecrfat it has a java error

Everytime I Try To Open Optifine And Other Mods With Java For Minecraft This Error Pops Up It Says

Error: opening registry key 'Software/JavaSoft/Java Runtime Enviroment Then It Says Error: Could Not Find Java.dll Then It Says Error: Could not find Java SE Runtime Enviroment.

Pls Reply And Help Me Fix This

can anyone briefly explain what this error means? i have reinstalled java and have java 8 u 60 64bit. i have set factory default on my router. i have restarted the computer and minecraft.

other places say minecraft can't communicate with itself, although java is allowed in firewall both private and public..

Minecraft FTB (Legacy Launcher)/ATLauncher java problems (no java?)

I have the java runtime (10.0.2 x64) installed on my computer, and decided to try my hands at a minecraft modpack with the legacy ftb launcher; problem is, the launcher does not detect java running on my computer, even though the latest JRE IS installed. I tested this out with the ATLauncher, and it too says "no java, download it"

Went on the ftb discord channel, and one user said "most of all mods need java 8 to work, java 10 won't be posibile for a long while". So problem solved, I guess
