    Java Update Scheduler has stopped working, can't reinstall Java 8 Update


    This happened after uninstalling java 8 update from my pc with a third party app called Geek Uninstaller, the reason i used geek uninstaller is because I wanted to fully remove java from my pc including registry files and then do a fresh reinstall, but now i can't even run the java 8 installer from the official java website running the JavaDevKit17 installer works though.If i check Windows Reliability Monitor it saysWindows Installer removed the product. Product Name: Java 8 Update 401 64-bit. Product Version: 8.0.4010

    Java Update Scheduler Process


    Open up your Task Manager and then click on the startup tab, if java update scheduler is running it will show up their, and you can disable it from task manager too.

    I've been having this issue with Java Update Scheduler running on his own and ramming my CPU usage to 80%, 10 to 15 minutes everytime after I boot the PC, and everytime I need to manually close it. I've searched it up online and people recommended setting s manual task scheduler for it, I did, it didnt work .

    Some people recommended disabling "check for updates" in the Java configure window but I didnt even have Java installed, I have no idea where this came from and how that process starts and why. So I installed Java, disabled updates and I still get this issue every time I boot the PC, I officially give up since I dont know what to do anymore.

    Please give me some suggestions

    Java updates?

    I got a notification on my system at boot up this morning wanting me to install a java update.

    IIRC, in Win 7 it was suggested that java should not be run at all.

    Is java on Win 10 safe and should I allow updates to Java?
