    Javascript disabled on on sites on Microsoft Edge


    If I open up a new tab and it goes to the default Edge page, it shows at the top javascript is disabled and cookies are turned off red X on both in the address bar. I checked and they are all on. This started happening after an update. Going to Ksat.com shows a blank screen but it works on Chrome. Is there a way to repair Edge? Thank you.

    Update

    Microsoft changed the Group Policies for Edge since I wrote this answer. Current Windows 10 builds don't allow you to turn off JavaScript in Edge via Group Policies.

    You can change this using the Group Policy settings:

    "Computer Configuration: > "Administrative Templates" > "Windows Components" > "Microsoft Edge"

    The same settings can also be found under:

    "User Configuration: > "Administrative Templates" > "Windows Components" > "Microsoft Edge"

    How do I disable JavaScript in Microsoft Edge?

    The new Settings menu for Microsoft Edge does not seem to contain a way of disabling JavaScript. Going through Internet Options and disabling Active Scripting turns of JavaScript for IE11, but does not have an effect on Microsoft Edge.

    Is there a way to disable JavaScript on the Microsoft Edge browser?

    Websites that had showed video in IE on my Windows8 phone now won't play in Edge. The website says I must enable JavaScript...I'm totally confused by everything I've read on this forum about enabling JavaScript in IE on a PC, or disabling JavaScript. Does
