Windows 10: JBL Bluetooth speaker shows up as 'disconnected' in sound settings despite being connected...

I have a JBL Charge 5 speaker that works with my phone and has previously worked with my Windows computer.Not sure what happened, but it does not play sound form my computer anymore.I cannot select the JBL speaker as my audio output device. If I open the sound settings, the speaker appears and disappears as I connect/disconnect it from bluetooth.However, it always says "disconnected" and is greyed out.I tried paring the device again and even factors reseting the JBL. JBL bluetooth speaker keeps disconnecting

I have an issue with my Huawei Windows 10 laptop that does not work with my JBL bluetooth speaker. All other bluetooth devices work fine with it.

It will connect fine, then will play sound for about a minute, then go silent, then disconnect completely. I know the speaker works as I use it with my phone all the time with no faults. I have tried changing the power management setting for my bluetooth
adaptor in Device Manager to no avail. I have also tried forgetting the device and reconnecting, and changing it to the default speaker in sound settings.

This is very frustrating as I essentially cannot use my speaker with my laptop. Does anyone have a solution?

 

JBL charge2 bluetooth speaker

I'm running Windows 10. my JBL Bluetooth speaker was working. My PC speakers are working and I can't find the JBL, but now when I open Control Panel the JBL Is listed there but has no listing under the 'services' or ' hardware' tabs. When I click on the
picture of the JBL speaker, it shows at the bottom of the screen as being paired.

Need help!!

Bluetooth portable speakers are connected, but no sound.

After trying every suggested remedy I can find in these posts, I am still unable to get my Dell PC to play over my new JBL Bluetooth speakers. Briefly:

• speakers work OK with my android tablet. Tablet source has now been disconnected.
• PC is Bluetooth enabled. Windows 10 Bluetooth software has been updated, mere minutes ago.
• PC finds my speakers, correctly identifies them as Charge 2+, and tells me I am connected. My speakers, in turn, make an encouraging beepy sound as they presumably find my PC, but there is no sound.
• I have disconnected and reconnected (un-paired and re-paired) my speakers several times with no result.
• My 2-year old PC has no internal speakers. External speakers work correctly, and nothing is plugged into my headphone jack.

The silence is deafening. Any help you can offer will be gratefully received. Thanks.
