    JPEG SVG and PNG displaying with black background and not whiter "transparent' in windows 11.


    JPEG SVG and PNG displaying with black background and not whiter "transparent' in windows 11. I am not in dark mode. files are set to open with photos and when open show fine but icons are all black backgrounds making it hard to see to pick. please help. I have read endless posts here and nothing works.

    Transparent PNG background becomes black

    After I installed Windows 10, my transparent PNG backgrounds in Photo Gallery gets black. First they are transparent, but when I close the Gallery and then opens it again, the pictures have a black background. Piece of ****....Can't it be fixed?!

    It helped! But when I hover over the PNG with transparent background, the background is still black. I can live with that, but if there is a way to remove it, then I would prefer that. The older PNG's I downloaded from the Internet with Windows 10, are still
    black, but I can remove that by using PaintNet, and just say save then it removes the black background.

    OneDrive Personal shows images with transparent backgrounds as black

    I have already done that prior to posting here. Anyone with Windows 10 and free OneDrive can try this: Download any PNG image with a transparent background and save it anywhere in your free OneDrive account and see it displayed as black.
