Windows 10: JRE Setup not working

    JRE Setup not working


    I need help, So I have been trying to install JRE on my new Windows 10 laptop and every time I click on the setup it gives the prompt and I click Yes and nothing happens, I have tried a ton of possible solutions like running a clean boot, or trying to disable UAC and even modifiying entires in my registry and nothing works. I haven't had this problem on my old laptop so I don't know what is happening and all other exe files or setups work, just not the JRE setup. Does anyone have any solutions?

    N80ie - JRE

    Used the N80ie to browse some sites but cannot see the display as they would require JRE(java runtime environment). Can someone advice, where can I go to download for JRE for N80ie?

    E65 and JRE

    I could be wrong, but I don't think that the nokia browser supports applets.

    Try visiting
    http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre&try=1

    ... it's a simple test to check if your browser runs applets.

    It's a little confusing I know, because symbian runs java, but even that is a cut down version of java (called J2ME) with very limited capabilities in comparison to the JRE required to run applets in a browser.

    JRE Setup not working

    Java isnt working with JDK and JRE

    Recently, I installed the JDK but some of the .jar programs which used the JRE without any problems stopped working properly. They wouldn't open at all.
