July 10 2018 Update killed my wifi

I updated Windows on my HP Envy 14 Notebook (product ID# J9L59US#ABA) yesterday, July 10, 2018. After the update was installed I shut down, and when I booted up this morning, I had no Wifi. Not that I couldn't connect to a network. WiFi is no longer an option on my laptop. I'm plugged into ethernet just fine, every other wireless device in my house works fine with my router. This laptop doesn't work wirelessly anymore. Is there any fix or workaround? I've tried uninstalling the updates. I uninstalled the security updates, but the system wouldn't let me uninstall the Windows update that occurred yesterday. Is there any way short of a completely fresh install of Windows to fix this problem?

    :)

    Hello Meg,

it will tell you it was they last update on the computer. It should be the first recover option on the list, I only had one option to select.

Although my backup date was July 17, 2017.
