July 2020 UpdateBattery Saver Mode not working Windows 10 Pro

In the windows update for the July edition, I have found this recent issue that the battery saver option isn't toggling from the notification center. It was working before these updates, but it is not working anymore. I have also reset the settings, performed BIOS updates, but no luck.

When I press the power saving from the notification center it tries to toggle, but it goes to its normal state gray button, I have to manually go to settings and toggle power saving to turn it on, and then the button shows up as blue and the little leaf shows up on the battery.

PLEASE help, it is really not a convenient use of windows?!

    :)

Thank you for the information. There are several ways on how to turn On or Off battery saver in Windows 10. We suggest trying the steps below and check If it will work for you:

    Method 1:

    • Open the Action Center (Windows key +
      A
      ).
    • Click on the Battery saver action button to toggle it On or Off.

    Method 2:

    • Open Settings.
    • Click on System.
    • Choose Battery on the left side and turn On or Off the
Battery saver status until next charge
      option.
    • Close Settings once done.

    Method 3:

    • Open Settings.
    • Click on System.
    • Choose Battery on the left side and check the “Turn battery saver on automatically if my battery falls below:”.
    • Adjust the slider to the battery percentage level you want.
    • Check or uncheck the Lower screen brightness while in battery saver option if you want.
    • Close Settings once done.

Let us know how this goes.

Unable to Windows OS 10 Update my Surface Pro 4, "Battery Saver is on" error even though plugged in and NOT in Battery Saver mode

    • Trying to perform Windows Update for Windows 10 OS as recommended.
    • Get error message that "Battery Saver is turned on, so we've paused downloads."
    • This is a Surface Pro 4, plugged in. So it won't go into Battery Saver mode while plugged in. Battery Saver is indeed "off" as demonstrated in Settings and in the Right hand side "Charms" icon.
    • I restarted the Surface several times but still having the same error.
