After 2 days of speaking with "Microsoft Support", I'm coming to you guys for answers.Product: Surface Pro 6Issue: Following the July 2024 update which was delayed for me because I didn't touch my SP6 for a few weeks, it won't turn on any longer.1st Problem: Bitlocker Key Request - resolved2nd Problem: UEFI Boot loop - resolvedI spoke to geek squad because the Surface app told me Microsoft doesn't have any options for service for me. Think I fried my 2500K :'(

I'm cautiously optimistic that you haven't fried it. You've removed the battery as has been suggested, which is great. I'd like to also add that you should move the cmos clear link over, as described in the mobo manual. It's not clear from the posts above if you've actually done this bit. If not, it's a very important step to try.

Hello Meg,

it will tell you it was they last update on the computer. It should be the first recover option on the list, I only had one option to select.

Although my backup date was July 17, 2017.

Yours may be similar?
