Windows 10: June 2025 update bricked my laptop

Discus and support June 2025 update bricked my laptop in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I'm at a loss. I performed the update yesterday, Sunday, June 15 2025.     June 2025 update bricked my laptop


    I'm at a loss. I performed the update yesterday, Sunday, June 15 2025. Restarted my laptop then stuck at Gigabyte screen and can't get past. Can't boot from USB. Took it to repair shop yesterday, they can see the files but cannot fix the issue. Unfortunately, no longer under warranty expired December 2024.Is Microsoft fixing this /is it even fixable?The Gigabyte subreddit has many users experiencing the same problems.GIGABYTE G5 KF Gaming Notebook 15.6" FHD 144Hz Intel i7-12650H GeForce RTX 4060 16GB 512GB SSD Windows 11 Home, G5 KF5-G3US353SH

    I know this is going to blow your mind, but I've had bios bricks and I do laptop refurbs for a living. It happens... Particularly when the flash program is windows only and drivers are amuck.

    I need to know if this update wont brick my laptop.

    -> I would do this:

    1. Download & install the free version of Macrium Reflect.
    2. Use it to create an image of your system partition. Park it on an external USB disk.
    3. Create a Macrium Rescue flash disk.
    4. Do the updates.
    5. If they brick your machine, restore the Macrium image.
    6. Fix your keyboard. The full stop key no longer works which makes your post unnecessarily hard to read.
