Windows 10: Just a bug? Pin icons next to folders in QuickAccess they're not actually pinned

I have seen this occur on various computers, where note how the bottom several folders are not pinned, even though they show the pin icon to the right:Here's what it should look like:The appearing-as-pinned bug seems to come and go. Even though those folders show as pinned, they are correctly replaced by more recently used folders, so it appears the problem is purely a display issue, but it makes things confusing for users. Any ideas what causes this because it seems intermittent and random? Is there something users can do to reliably remove the incorrect pin icons when this happens?

By the way, I'd like you to try these steps below:

• Open the command windows by typing 'cmd'
  

• del /F /Q %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\*
  

• del /F /Q %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations\*
  

• del /F /Q %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations\*
  
• (to be sure) restart your computer
  

This should fix the problem.
