Windows 10: “Just a moment...” screen on every startup

Hi, recently whenever I start my PC I’m met with this “Just a moment...” screen in a square in the middle. This lasts about 3 minutes before it puts me to my desktop.

This is Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, I have it on an SSD and before this issue it would load in 3-4 seconds.

just a moment screen

I reinstalled off a recovery drive that I made of my qosmio laptop, it has been stuck on the just a moment screen now for 2 hrs. Any suggestions?????.

It was previously running win10 with no issues

 

Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

What is the version of Windows 10 you’re running?

How long does the message ‘Just a moment’ stay on the screen before the desktop gets loaded?

It seems to be a performance issue. You may try the steps mentioned in the article below below and let us know if it makes any difference.



Tips to improve PC performance in Windows 10



There are some steps in this article which you have tried already. The last step talks about resetting PC, which would remove all the installed apps from the computer and keep or remove your personal files depending on the option you select before
initiating the reset operation.



Also check if the Fast Startup is turned on. Enable if it isn’t already. Follow the steps mentioned below.

• Open the Run dialog box by pressing the
  Windows key and the R key together.
  
• Type Control and hit the Enter key to open
  Control Panel.
  
• Go to System and Security->Power Options->Change what the power option does.
  
• Check the radio button for Turn on fast startup (recommended) option under Shutdown settings.
