    Wheel spinning - blue screen - "Just a moment"

    Been happening for sometime now.

    I suspect it is stuck in a loop,

    What can I do to avoid screwing things up any worse than they are?

    This started after I had to do a Reset after trying to upgrade from Windows 10 version 1703 to Windows 10 version 1803. HP Notebook, which has problems updating as it does not do a proper restart as required in some upgrades. Had a really bad crash - thought it would never work again! It is too small for an anchor, and too big for a door stop -

    What to do - What to do !

    double post (sorry) but another good way is to sort it by FSB, so that people can look to the top of the list to see the best OC'er in each category.


    possibly sort it out by core type as well?

    Kentsfield (B-3 stepping)
    Kentsfield (g0 stepping)
    Conroe
    Conroe 1333 FSB (e6x50 line)
    Allendale (2M 800FSB)


    its an idea, but the list is somewhat short at the moment so it may be pointless til it gets bigger.

    GPU-Z 0.7.8 / 0.7.9 / 0.8.0 Bios reading not possible GTX670-solved with gpu-z 0.8.1

    @Maban - does GPU-Z fail the same way for you the way it does for me? I.e. total system freeze/lockup, requiring a hard reset?

    @W1zzard - I will try the suggested steps later today, as I am not near that PC at the moment.

    Borderlands at the the moment and it rocks*Rockout :rockout:, that is of course when I can get my GF off the bloody thing playing World Of Warcraft *Frown Just a moment :( i only suggested it to her to be nice - 25 long levels later I'm thinking, what an idiot I am :shadedshu *Smile Just a moment :)
