    Dear Sir/Madam, How's things?,If i were to ditch my now installed Kaspersky free and then go back to the Windows Defender antivirus it will only end up with only losses and no wins relating to a dangerous downloads.I though the newer updates for the Windows Defender antivirus in 2022 would of somehow improved my security ?, after it got installed?,but sadly it has ended up with just losses.If you don't me to use the Kaspersky free antivirus?,should i be using the Huorong Security antivirus from the Microsoft store instead or what other free antiviruses have you found

    Thanks for replying to us with the status of your issue.

    We appreciate you for trying the troubleshooting steps.

    I suggest you to Remove the Chineselanguage and add it again and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:

    Step 1: Remove the Chinese language.


    • Press Windows + X on your keyboard.

    • Select Control panel.

    • Select language.

    • Click on the Option adjacent to the
      Chineselanguage.

    • Click on remove under input method.

    Step 2: Add ChineseLanguage.


    • Press Windows + X on your keyboard.

    • Select Control panel.

    • Select language.

    • Click on Add language.

    • Add the Chinese language from the given list.

    Stuck in Returning to previous build

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for posting in Community.

    Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

    1. What task where you performing when you receive the Black screen?

    2. Where you installing any software?

    3. Can you access your desktop screen?

    If not, then I would suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if you can return back to your desktop screen. To do so follow the steps below:

    • Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
    • Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
    • Plug the charger/power cord and restart system.

    I would also suggest that you refer to the Microsoft Article Troubleshoot blue screen errors
    provided in the link below
