Windows 10: just bought an Amazon renewed laptop and crashes

Just bought an Amazon renewed laptop and it keeps freezing and acting like its in sleep mode and wont wake up. Laptop has all settings set to disable sleep mode and crash keeps occurring, screen unpowered and laptop unresponsive. Windows is reporting a hardware error, but I'm not sure what all this jargon means in the windows reliability reporting tool. Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Random laptop crashes in games.

Amazon 1button

1. Bought yesterday laptop.

2. After finishing it setting I run the windows update.

3. In a couple of hours, after windows updates were done, an Amazon 1button appeared on the Internet Explorer.

4. Checked add-ons for IE there is nothing.

5. I went to Control Panel -> Programs and Features and uninstall the Amazon Assistance. The "Amazon 1button" disappeared from the browser.

6. When I rebooted the laptop the button was back.

No matter hw many times I do step #5, each time I reboot laptop the "Amazon 1button" is reinstalled.

It is not a virus - I run the scan. It appeared right after several hour windows update. When you buy a new laptop and run windows update as I understand it reinstalls the latest version of Win 10 completely.

Please help, Should I delete all traces of Amazon from the registry?
