Windows 10: Just built a brand new pc, bought windows 11 directly from the microsoft store, but cannot...

Built a brand new pc. Used a friend's Windows boot drive to initially install Windows to make sure everything worked properly, planning to buy my own activation code after we could verify that everything was working which I have done before. I opened settings and clicked 'activate windows' where it took me to the Microsoft store and I purchased Windows 10//11 Home. Again, DIRECTLY from the Microsoft store. My card was charged, however, I cannot activate Windows. The Microsoft store now just says "try again" and nothing happens when clicked and below it says "Something happened and we couldn'

Microsoft Store not installed on new Windows 11 laptop

I've searched every article and tried every fix I could find. I've pasted commands in Run and Powershell. I've made sure I'm signed in. I have exhausted the extent of every search and suggestion, yet my brand-new Windows 11 computer still does not have the Microsoft Store. I pursued every avenue of help on the website, which refers me to a phone number, which then refers me back to the website.

This is a brand-new computer that does not have the store installed. Links to install, either the app or a different app through the Microsoft Store, result in blank pages.

I need to know what steps need to be taken to remedy this issue. This is not an upgrade to 11 from 10. Just got the computer today with 11 installed. Please help.

 

Bought Windows 11 in Microsoft Store, didn't receive key

Hello,

I installed Windows 11 on brand new custom-built desktop computer. After installation I went to Microsoft Store and bought Windows 11. I received confirmation email ("Your Microsoft order #.... has been proccessed), my credit card was charged, and I can see it in my order history.

However:

1. I didn't receive key and I can't find it anywhere

2. Windows didn't activate and it is reporting an error that hardware changed (?)

3. If I go to Microsoft Store again, for Windows 11 it randomly shows "Buy" button again, or "Try again", but nothing happens if I tap it.
