Windows 10: Just built a new gaming rig and I need to transfer a OS from my laptop

So i hope I'm posting this in the right place, I'm sorry if its not but I really need some guidance. I just built a new pc and I am to the point where Its time to turn her on and get things up and running. Problem is I realized I still haven't bought windows 10 for it.. Well I got to thinking and I have 3 laptops and an OLD desktop that doesn't ever get turned on and all of them have windows. The main question I have is, I would really like to transfer my windows 10 pro from my Dell Latitude E5520 that I honestly never use.. My goal here is to use my current pc that im on now as my streaming pc, so I can use the new one I've built for gaming. I know i've played around with a few programs before that let me make a copy onto a external SSD like a portable drive I could plug in anywhere to get into my os but that was quite some time ago now, and after building the new pc and just stressing about finding parts etc. I'm just drained at this point and need the easy answer that pushes me in the right direction that is if its possible to do what I mentioned above. So just to be clear i dont want to copy that win10 pro to a external ssd, I want to TRANSFER and pretty much clean install onto my new pc.

Transfer OS from 512 to 1tb SSD

I'm in the process of building a new rig. I would like to transfer the OS from my current 512 SSD to a 1tb SSD. My Os is already linked to my MS account and I printed out the steps about using the troubleshooter after a significant hardware change. The Question is: Can I clone the 512 to the 1tb or does it require a clean install? OS is Win 10 Pro.

If you upgraded from a retail box copy Windows 7, it has retail transfer rights.

Building a new rig to transfer Windows 10 but not sure if it's OEM or Retail

Apologies if this is in the wrong category.

So, I built my PC quite some time back now and I'm looking at building a new rig.

The issue I'm having is I want to transfer my Windows 10 onto the new rig but I need to know if my version of Windows is classed as retail.

I seemed to have misplaced my Windows 7 install disk/box and apparently (according to other threads) after a previous Windows 10 update the
Product Key Channel is useless as it will just say Retail regardless.

Is there any other way to tell if the version of Windows I bought is OEM or Retail?
