Windows 10: Just built Vanilla Win10XPE! Help Needed Adding Apps/Plugins/Drivers!

Woohoo! I successfully created my first default Win10XPE Project! *Smile

I would like to add the following Apps/Programs to my Win10XPE Project. *Cool

I REALLY need help adding/slipstreaming Apps/Plugins/Drivers into my Win10XPE Project.

I don't remember which apps to use or where to find them to create an App/Plugin or where and how to add special drivers. Could someone please point me to the correct appropriate documentation and/or "How To" Website/Articles/YouTubes?

I want to create and add Plugins/Apps for my Win10XPE Project. *chuckle

What tools do I need to create and add Apps/Plugins/Drivers to my Winbuilder/Win10XPE Project

Are there any suggestions where to find the "How To" instructions/articles to add these programs to my Winbuilder/Win10XPE Project?

"Built-in administrator" still denied access to many apps and functions

Hi Andy,

• What is the exact error message you are getting when you try to open apps?

I understand your concern about accessing the operating system. I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you, I realize this may be frustrating. We are here to help you in resolving the issue.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted system settings/ system files. Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to check if Built-in Administrator account is enabled. If so, try to disable.

Step 1: Follow the steps toDisable Built-in administrator.

• • Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
    
  • Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open
    Command Prompt.
  • Type the following command and hit Enter:
  • net user administrator /active: no (Check for the spaces)
    

Restart the computer and check with the status of this issue.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to refer to the below thread replied by
Marilyn O on November 22, 2012 as this suggestion has helped many others and check if it helps you as well.

Garmin 20 Cant add Garmin communicator Plugin to my Window 10 for Geocaching

Hi,

The issue might occur if the plugin is not compatible with the Operating System. I suggest you to install the plugin in compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if it helps.

• Download the setup files from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.
• Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
  “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility” Tab.
• Place a check mark next to“Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
• Let the plugin install and then check thefunctionality.

If issue persists I would suggest you to contact Garmin support and check for latest update:

I'd suggest IrfanView + Plugin Pack (I've used it for ~10 years).

It lets you:

• View images (multiple formats)
• View videos (multiple formats)
• Listen to audio (multiple formats)
• Read txt & pdf files (probably other types too)

It's is one of the first programs I install in my Windows OS installs.
