    Just copy email links to clipboard!!?? Click mailto: links and copy email as default email...


    Sometimes grabbing an email address from an app, website, etc is difficult. When clicking on the link Windows 10 will default to opening your default mail application. Is there an application (open source or otherwise) that would simply copy the email address to the clipboard? It would be so much easier... If the app doesn't exist, it seems like it would be easy to create.

    I'm trying to understand what you are doing.

    I think you now want mailto to open the Chrome browser to handle Outlook.com as web mail (not Outlook, the Office email client).

    That's very different to what you first posted.

    may give you some ideas.

    I know there are posts on this forum addressing this topic by people who've done this but can't immediately find one. Now that the problem has (I think) been defined, hopefully someone who's done this will comment.

    emailing links

    Yes, you copy the url from browser and then paste into your email text area. I doubt dragging the url will work.

    Email Links Wont Activate

    Default is the clue. You will see it appears in both screen shots.
    Type Default in the search box. You're looking for those options.
