Windows 10: Just created microsoft family account, how to share minecraft for windows

So I purchased minecraft for windows under my account. Dont want the kids using my login and account to play games, so I created all of their own MS accounts and added them to the family plan. Now, when the kids log into their own account, Minecraft isn't available to them. I have read the top 4-5 google searches and seem to have done everything the articles mention. . .however I am still missing something.

Share Minecraft with Family

I've seen a more or less similar post but of 2016, so I was hoping things might be different now.

Is it possible to buy minecraft once and share it with your kids on the family account and can they play it simultaneously?

I find this whole family account and content sharing on the microsoft store very confusing. It is very obvious in the Google play store how that works and there I bough minecraft once and can share it with my kids who can play it simultaneously.

We appreciate the time and effort that you have invested in to fix the issue.

As per the above information, I suggest that you refer to the steps below and check if you are bale to remove the unknown account.

• Sign in at account.microsoft.com/family with your Microsoft account on any PC or device
• Click/tap on Remove under Adults in
  Your family
• Click/tap on the adult account you want to remove, and click/tap on Remove
• You (adult) and all other adults in family will now get an email confirming the adult has been removed from the family
