Windows 10: just done a system refresh on my toshiba laptop and now i cant seem to connect to my modem...

just done a system refresh on my toshiba laptop after a glitch happened and now i cant seem to connect to my modem wirelessly so ive been needing an ethernet cable to search any fixes.

Using N95 as modem for laptop. Cannot connect?

I've tried using the Nokia PC Suite and I've tried setting up a manual connection but neither seem to work.

The phone connects to the laptop by Bluetooth with no difficulty, but I cannot get it to connect as a modem.

PC Suite tells me "Failed to connect. Modem may be in use by another application or not configured properly", while the manual connection returns an error code 633 and says that "the modem or other connecting device is in use or not configured properly".

In Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager if I try to query the modem it says "the modem failed to respond. make sure it is properly connected and turned on. If it is an internal modem or is connected, verify that the interrupt for the port is properly
set".

Under System/Advanced/Hardware/Modems/Nokia N95/Advanced, I get +CGDCONT=,,"mobile.o2.co.uk"

Under Ports I have no less than 17 listed as "Toshiba BT Port" with various numbers in the range (Com 6) to (Com 81) and I don't know if I can or should just delete these?

I don't use modem, I directly connect the cable to my laptop. I did reinstalled drivers for the network adapter, but it didn't do the magic unfortunately.
