Windows 10: Just got a blue screen of death, and then couldn't start the pc

I do some pretty intensive stuff on my pc since I'm a game dev but now I just got a random blue screen (with the smiley thing) out of nowhere! And afterwards I couldn't even start it, my pc powered on but the monitor said there was no signal (I'm sure the monitor works perfectly) then a bit later I tried again and it did work so I went to see if there were any updates and apparently I wasn't up to date. It's now updating but could this have been the problem? I've found a lot of things online about needing to be up to date and that otherwise this could cause problems.

Should I be worried?

Let us try the following steps as a workaround and check if it makes any difference.

Step 1: Initially, I suggest you to start your computer in safe mode with Networking and check if the issue appears there as well. If it does not appear in safe mode with Networking place the computer in clean
boot state to identify the culprit program running in the background creating this error.
