Windows 10: Just got divorced and need to change last name

• Ask yourself if you really need a name change.
• Make sure you have a good reason.
• Know what you want your new name to be before you request a name change.
• Send Urlyin a PM containing a decent explanation of your reason as well as your desired name.

 

Last name keeps changing in Windows 10?????

I got married a few months back so I updated my last name on my Microsoft account. It reflected on my computer running Windows 10 for a few days (it shows my first and last name on the login screen, reflecting my new name after I restarted the computer).
But then it randomly changed back to my old last name. I went to my account settings online and on my account page, my old name shows, but when I click "Edit Name", it reflects my new name. So I have to type something else, save it, then go back in and type
the new name and save it again. I then have to restart my computer to have it reflect the new name again, only to change back in a few days again. I don't understand why it keeps changing or why it's being so wonky on the website (showing one name on my home
page but another when I click edit). It might seem silly, but the old last name is the last name I had from a previous divorce, so I'm really tired of seeing it still. I either want to know of a way to keep the new name on the account without it switching
back, or find a way to only display my first name on the Windows 10 login screen. Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

Can't change last name, first name order in Nokia 222

Hello,

Just imported my contacts from Google to my Nokia 222 but the list appears as last name, first name format. There is no option to change it in options menu as first name, last name sequence.

Anyone having the same problem? Do we need an update?
