Windows 10: Just loaded build 19041.610 and am unable to print from any app

I am running Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition, 64 bit and just updated to Build 19041.610

I am now unable to print from any windows application to my Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer connected via USB port.

I updated to the latest Canon driver. I can go to Control Panel, Hardware, Printers. My printer is recognized and I can print a test print.


If I load Photoshop, prepare an image for printing and go to PRINT, the pc locks up. However, if I wait 5 minutes, the Print menu finally appears.

If I try to print from any Microsoft Office application, I get the same results.

I have read the previous reports of printing issues. However, none of them seem to pertain to build 19041.610.


I would appreciate any advice

  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the Printer?
  
• What happens when you try to print?
  
• Are you using any browser or specific app to print the bank statement?
  
• Did you try printing a document file (like PDF, word or notepad)?

Unable to find print option.

I understand the inconvenience caused to you. I will be glad to assist you for the issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to print documents in the Windows 10 and check if it helps:

Step 1:

1. Open Photo gallery and click on the photo that you want to print.

2. Click on the file tab from the top left side of the page.

3. Next select print and again print.

you will be able to print.

If however you are unable to find the print option then follow step 2.

Step 2:

• Once the document/picture is open in, press
  Ctrl+P.
• Click Print as PDF button.
• Check if the document prints as expected.

Unable to print due to wrong print settings - Windows 10 Email app

Hi!

I have a customer that is having an issue with printing from the Windows 10 E-mail app. Windows version is 19.03 but the problem has been present for quite some time now.

• The printer is a Brother DCP-7030.
• Printer works fine when printing from other applications.
• We tried repairing the mail app but still the same issue. Driver update is not available.
  
• We've checked the printer settings and can't find anything wrong. Also disabled E-mail app from making changes to the settings. Still getting "Unable to print due to wrong print settings".

Some suggestions have been made to turn off the UAC but that doesen't seem lika a long term solution.
