Windows 10: Just reinstalled a fresh windows install. Something seems very off and a question about...

Hi there,

So I basically re-installed windows and now I have a very weird problem. For whatever reason, most of my apps never seem to save. On restart, it seems to clear the save like it never happened. Did Microsoft add some new feature that you had to whitelist applications or something? I really don't want to re-install anything again. I did a fresh install via USB, using the iso provided by Microsoft. This is really annoying and I can't even get VLC media player to save the last watched time for my stuff, as windows seems to be denying it or something weird is going on (really no idea what is going on). I had tried to do sfc /scannow but it came back with nothing wrong. My previous install of windows 10 was a lot better because I had upgraded from windows 7, so I think a lot of the registry and stuff never went away, allowing me to preserve most of the basic features. But now everything seems very weird as compared to before, there must be a setting I have to turn off surely?

2nd question:

Does anyone know how to remove the action bar in the taskbar? I can't seem to find the registry values for it as they seemed to have removed it or something....

If you're curious I am on windows 10 pro version 1909.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
