Windows 10: Just reinstalled Windows 10 and now my wifi networks aren’t showing up on setup, please help

Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly






The native apps from the system are all showing this strange square instead of the normal icons. Please help resolve this problem. Thanks

 

Wifi Networks not showing


On my Laptop if I wanted to change the wifi connection I would always see a list of the available networks when I selected the Wifi icon on the task bar.
Since the last major update to Windows 10 I find that when I select the wifi icon I only see the current connection





To see other networks within range I have to open the 'Network settings' and choose 'Show available networks' - then they show up.





Does anyone have any explanation for this - or possibly a 'fix' to show them all from the taskbar again.

I suggest you to check install the driver in compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if it works.

• Uninstall the driver software.
• Right click on the ‘Setup’ icon for the driver and click on properties.
• Under Compatibility tab, check the option for Run in Compatibility mode.
• Select Windows 8 from the drop down list after performing step 4.
• Click on Apply and then OK.
• Install the driver software and check if the computer can connect to a Wi-fi network.
