Just to say thank you to those involved in the July Features Update.

Having been waiting for some weeks for this major update, I was very pleased that there were no issues at all.

I'm still getting to learn what it will do; some extremely-helpful links and tips were given to me by experts in my thread here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...the-july/8cdcf776-76c2-4fcc-a600-a3c26281f36a

But it was a painless experience.

Well done and a huge thank you to all those programmers and others involved in giving it to us. The Insiders have had it a while of course but not the majority of Microsoft customers. Living in Yorkshire UK where the locals are known for their blunt-speaking, I've sometimes been critical about WU/Microsoft problems in the past so it's only fair that I give praise where praise is due.

How was it for other users?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 update July 2017

    Hello Meg,

it will tell you it was they last update on the computer. It should be the first recover option on the list, I only had one option to select.

Although my backup date was July 17, 2017.

    Yours may be similar?

    good luck Meg!

    Hi,

Thank you for this helpful reply. I will try the steps you suggest. Only problem is I don't know the precise date for the July update. Can you let me know the date?

    Many thanks.

Just to say thank you to those involved in the July Features Update.

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Just to say thank you to those involved in the July Features Update. :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
