Windows 10: Just updated my Windows 10 and my second HDD disappeared?

I'm kind of freaking out since I keep all of my work stuff on it, never had this happen before. It's not showing up in Windows Explorer or Disk Management or Device Manager at all. I have an SSD and a HDD.

I opened up the PC case to make sure the missing HDD is plugged in properly but still nothing, I'm pretty sure I can hear the HDD when I start my PC, it has a distinct sound from what I can remember.

It can't be a coincidence that it's gone right after this Windows Update rebooted my PC once or twice?

Has this happened to anyone else? What can I do to fix it?

I suggest you to follow the below steps & check if it helps.

• Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and click on
  Troubleshooting. Thenclick on
  View All on the left panel of the screen.
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
• Click on Next andfollow the instructions.
• If the issues still persist, refer to the below methods.

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
