Just updated to Win11 and my mouse is sliding to the left when ever I run anything...

So yeah updated to Win11 today and sadly I have not been liking it as much as win10, but my biggest issue is whenever I load a game or program my mouse starts to drift/slide to the left of my screen. After I close the program it continues to do this for a time then either randomly stops or continues and I restart my computer. I checked all of my drivers and even reinstalled my mouse drivers and seems to not help. Everything is up to date atm the moment and still, it keeps happening. Need help, please! Otherwise, im going back to win10.

    :)

    • Open Control Panel.
    • Set the view to Small icons or Large icons.
    • Choose Troubleshooting.
    • On the left panel, go to View all.
    • Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Just updated to Win11 and my mouse is sliding to the left when ever I run anything...

    left mouse buttion not working

Thanks for all these helpful information, Glen. First step that we can try is to isolate if this is a hardware or software issue.

If your keyboard is connected via USB, have you tried plugging it to a different USB port and still get the same results? If you have other working mouse, try it onto your PC and see if the issue will persist and let us know.

As for the software side, check if your drivers are updated to the latest version, particularly with the
mouse driver. If that didn't fix the issue, follow the steps listed below to perform Windows 10 Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter:

    • Ttype Troubleshooting on the Cortana search box and hit the Enter key.
    • Click View All located on the top left corner of the control Panel window.
    • Click Hardware and Devices.
    • Run the troubleshooter.

Try out these steps and let us know the outcome.
