    Just upgraded my ryzen 55600x to a ryzen 9 5900x


    Hello so I just upgraded my processor & ever since, everything works. Minus when I go to try & load MW2 or go to do anything revolving pushing my pc. It automatically restarts every single time. I have tried reinstalling some redistributers. I full reset my pc maybe 2 or 3 times erased everything. Fresh boot but nothing I do seems to be working, I'm currently checking my disc within the command prompt. Unsure if my windows has potentially corrupted & or my bios isn't up to date. Please help, it would sincerely mean a lot, I have been troubleshooting for the past 3 days trying to

    Ryzen 9 5900x Running Hotter After Installing Windows 11

    My ryzen 9 5900x started to run way hotter after installing Windows 11. My idle tempratures has rissen 20c-25c. While surfing on the internet my tempratures are between 55c-60c and slightest of tasks like oppening a pdf file makes my fans go wild and my tempratures around 75c. I have tried updating the chipset drivers to to no avail. By the way I am using an aio cooler. I have tried to change the maximum and minimum processor state from %100 to %99 from windows power management and this dropped my tempratures to around 40C. Is there anything else that can I do? Wouldn't changing processor state have impacts on the performance?

    Ryzen 5 4500U is a mobile version (for laptops), the desktop version is not compatible.
