Windows 10: Just upgraded to Win 11 Pro and Activation State says "We cant activate windows on this...

Bought a brand new laptop with Win 11 Home a week ago. Have done nothing to this laptop other than run Windows system updates. Today I bought a Win 11 Pro Upgrade through the Microsoft Store. After windows ran the upgrade and restarted The Windows Activation State now says"We can't activate Windows on this device because you don't have a valid digital license or product key. Error Code 0xC004C003I have no idea how to proceed other than return the laptop to Best Buy. Any help would be appreciated.

Upgraded Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro through Store - Activation failed

Hi,

We bought a new laptop with Windows 11 Home installed. We needed Win 11 Pro for domain services. So, we went to the Store and upgraded to Win 11 Pro for 130$. After following the steps for upgrading, it changed to Windows 11 Enterprise and says cant activate windows on this device because you dont have a digital license or product key. I clicked on Troubleshoot and still got cant Activate and said to ask for Help. Error code was : 0xC004C003. Need help asap since it is for business. Tried windows updates, didnt work.

I can provide the order details if needed.

Unable to Activate Win 8

I got Win 8 isntalled on my file server, but I am unable to activate it with the key. Says the key is invalid. Since I work at microsoft I got a retail version from the employee store. I have been doing some reading, and to be able to activate Win8 with the key there needs to be a previous version of Windows installed for it to work. WTF, so you can't do clean installs?

And the box says nothing about Upgrade version. Straight Windows 8 Pro.
