    Just want to make people aware- Tech support phone scammers are at it again.


    Hey everyone,If you have not received any calls, Microsoft Scammers are at it again. A guy called my mom saying that their was an issue with her Microsoft account and that he wanted to know what it said on her computer. She told him that her "so called computer" was not on and that she is on the phone. He guy rudely told her to get off the phone with the other person that this was an emergency and that she needs to talk to him after her computer. She told him to wait and came back over to talk to me and asked me about this. I told her that Microsoft never calls their customers and that th

    Tech Support Scammers

    Any tech support (from anybody) that you did not initiate is a scam.

    microsoft (and any other legitimate tech company) WILL NOT call you unless YOU have previously arranged it.

    microsoft error messages NEVER suggest you call a number.

    uninstall any software that they told you to install. and read
