Windows 10: KB3097617 Second Bug: Shut down problem

On the exact same day (10-16-15) I got a second bug that came with KB3097617 (not able to install it), Windows was not shutting down anymore. I have to disable Fast Start Up to shut down but it comes back to enable after a wild.

Can someone help at least to solved the shut down issue?

Problem with video game after update KB3097617

Hi!

I got problem after the latest update KB3097617. When I start my savefile in assassins creed unity, the loading screen freeze and the game shuts down. Can someone fix that problem?

 

Incomplete Shut Down in Windows 10

For the time being, hold the shift button while clicking shut down. Or try shutting down by pressing Win+X button, shut down and sign out-->shut down. If it still happens, try to do a clean format of your PC. But if the problem still persists, but only on
Windows 10, then there is definitely some bug in windows 10, provided your system supports windows 10 officially.

I hope MS fixes this bug in the next update(claimed my MS to be released supposedly, in the 1st week of August)

 

been having periodic shutdown and restart issues myself, since the last update. have had to hardpress the power button a few times.

 

Shutting down is not a real issue because it's Ubuntu that opens when I start the computer (Grub is the main switch: Got 10 seconds to choose Win Ten loader, otherwise Ubuntu 15.10 will boot automatically). Never have a restart problem. Disabling fast start up appears to be the only solution.

 

The shut down issue was also solved by the clean install.
